Helloooo, I know you all expect us all to be on a summerbreak but I already had my 5 weeks in France so I thaught it was time to show you all some Paper Romance Inspiration for everybody that stays at home and wants to play with their paper and stamps :)

For my card I used High Hopes- Lily the spring fairy I adore my High Hopes stamps and especially when it has a fantasy theme ;)

Happy Thursday everyone! It's Sandra P here and this week I am hosting our latest challenge :)

But first a few things................................

**THIS POST WILL REMAIN STICKY (WITH ADDED INFO) UNTIL JUNE 30TH**

With summer fast approaching the DT and myself are going to take a little bitty break. Challenges will continue until the end of June. The last challenge will be June 30th. Paper Romance Challenges will continue after the summer months but an exact date has not been confirmed.

Secondly, Amy has a SUMMER STAMP BLOWOUT SALE up her sleeve!!! Details will be posted as soon as I get them so check back regularly to make sure you get first dibs at some awesome prices on some fab stamps! Oh and maybe some freebies with an order?! (Wink Wink)

Paper Romance is looking for a new team to start on November 18th!!!

The term will go for 6 months, and end May 31st 2011

This call will be open until November 4th at midnight.

This time around, I am looking for:

Eight full time design team members
Experienced & New paper crafters
Great photography skills
A Blog that you post to regularly
A gallery on at least one other scrap site
You must be prepared to make one card per week for our challenge day (Thursdays)
You must be able to host at least one challenge every 6-8 weeks
You must have a yahoo account to get into the DT group.
You must be very energetic when promoting Paper Romance on your blog or message boards.
You must also be able to participate in the occasional blog hop
You will have to have the Paper Romance logo listed on your blog with a list of the DT members.
If you are on facebook, I would appreciate if you posted your blog link with your weekly challenge card on the Paper Romance fan page. (www.facebook.com/paper.romance.store)

I am also looking for one of each:

Operation Write Home is an organization that sends blank handmade greeting cards for all occasions to deployed service members to write home on. They’ve mailed approximately 500,000 cards so far—and are still going strong! Our challenge to you is to make cards to send to them with a Birthday or Christmas Theme.

Please read the basic guidelines here; it’s important especially to remember that glitter is NOT allowed (it’s a safety hazard), handmade cards only, and OWH needs A2 sized cards. “Operation Write Home” needs to be on the backs of your cards—it can be stamped, handwritten, or printed on labels. Please include a packing slip inside your box or envelope, and mail them to any of their shippers listed on the Mailroom page. In your package, you can also include notes written to a deployed service member.

This is a very special challenge at Paper Romance this week. We are working alongside Operation Write Home to provide handmade cards for troops overseas to send home to their loved ones. There are guidelines that you have to follow to make these cards so this week the team won't be showing their sparkle as glitter is a big No No but we still made some fabulous samples for you!

OWH accepts handmade cards only, and OWH needs A2 sized cards, but are especially looking for Birthday or Christmas cards at the present time so that is what we are asking you to make this week.
